   Incinerator Petition

Petition against the giant incinerator in Gloucester

We the undersigned call on the County Council not to build a giant incinerator in Gloucester capable of burning 160,000 tonnes of waste a year as an alternative to landfill, contrary to their manifesto promises not to introduce incinerators, and instead look at other methods of disposal.

The Conservative County Council have purchased land at Javelin Park in Quedgeley for their waste site.
