Gloucester MP Parmjit Dhanda joined postal wokers from across the country to protest against Royal Mail's plan to close the city's sorting office.
Hundreds of post office staff and members of the Communication Worker's Union marched through the city centre voicing thier opposition to the proposed closure of the Eastern Avenue site.
Speaking to the protesters local MP Parmjit Dhanda said,
"The mail centre is part of Gloucester's heritage and history and that is why we are going to keep it."
